and see the scams of beggars
But to sit on the cold ice in middle of the road
takes more punishment and humiliation than you think.

Beggar's Rd is usually packed with the most amount of beggars
most cars never stop
but after the snowfall
only the real beggars with nothing will sit on the middle of road
endure the diesel fumes.

Hasmat stepped on a land mine during the mujahadeen war as a kid
He has endured this life as beggar for over 10 years
Though my Farsi is terrible he spoke of God
and wishing he never had to endure such humiliation
That the end would come so to not bother his family
with his disability.
Landmines is the curse of man
